I was so impressed, and since the Zune HD can output HD (720p via NVIDIA's Tegra processor), I displayed the same video on my TV directly from the Zune HD using the dock again the quality was gorgeous. I synced the video to the Zune HD for quality testing. The average speed was between 13 to 19 minutes. Just pick a source file, a codec format and then encode. TMPGEnc 4.0 Xpress (with Nvidia's CUDA) is fast and straightforward. I installed Spore (perfectly playable), Call of Duty 4 (I changed most of the settings), and Left4Dead (set everything on low) and it works. I wanted to make sure ION could handles some games.

Again, this has been touched on but I don't think I saw a definitive answer or a clear explanation on how this works. My laptop's BD drive is locked and can have issues with Any DVD HD so this needs to work for me - surely someone has ripped a region A and B disk using the drive and can confirm this works?Ģ. Is there an RPC-1 firmware for the BD drive? Or does it function fine with AnyDVD HD for playback and ripping of various region Blurays? It was mentioned earlier in the thread to check some firmware forums but couldn't find anything. I have a few questions before biting the bullet:ġ.
